Chanel Johnson

Chanel is a Resident in Counseling under the supervision and guidance of Dr. LeKeisha Hite. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in May 2009 from Virginia state University. She also received her Master of Education Degree in Counseling in December 2013 from Virginia State University.
Her primary focus is counseling and therapeutic treatment to children and adolescents. She uses a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Reality Based and Solution Focused Theories. She also utilizes a play therapy approach amongst children as a way for them to express their experiences and feelings through a natural, self-guided, self-healing process.
