Le’Keisha has provided counseling and therapeutic treatment to children, adolescents, and adult population for over 19 years. She has been working with Therapeutic Treatment Center, LLC since August 2010. Le’Keisha specializes in adolescents and adults with substance use issues and co-occurring disorders, depression, anxiety, and couples counseling. She has counseling experience across a variety of treatment settings include; private practice, inpatient substance abuse and community-based services.

Le’Keisha holds a Doctoral Degree in Psychology from California Southern University and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since February 2011. She is also a Certified Master Addiction Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, and National Certified Counselor. Le’Keisha received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology in May 1999 and her Master of Education in Counseling in December 2002 from Virginia State University.

Le’Keisha has experience in the courts, community, and private sectors in the mental health and substance use field. In addition to counseling and case management, she has a wealth of experience developing programs, holding trainings, supervising others, and providing clinical supervision to other behavioral healthcare providers. She is committed to providing quality services as a supervisor and a therapist.

Le’Keisha is eclectic and uses a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Reality Based, and Psycho-education. A holistic approach is utilized by exploring with and educating clients about how mind and body are interconnected. Le’Keisha believes that when a person has hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change. Exploring, acknowledging, and coping with past traumas of childhood tragedies are profound when attempting to treat mental health and substance use disorders.
